Seungri wins Inkigayo Mutizen again + other performances

Kim Bo Kyung debuts on Inkigayo


Having made history on Music Bank earlier, marking her debut on a major music show, Mnet’s “Superstar K2” contestant Kim Bo Kyung continued her feat on the February 13th episode of SBS’s “Inkigayo” in promotion of her debut track, “Day by Day.”
Although she failed to rank in the ‘Top 11′ for the show (Superstar K2), her fantastic vocal talents garnered her enough attention to land a contract with Sony Music Entertainment Korea.
Fellow contestant and winner Huh Gak has never made an appearance on Inkigayo, making Kim Bo Kyung’s performance on today’s episode the cable audition program’s first ever contestant to make it.

LPG makes a comeback on Inkigayo


Having released their comeback MV last month, the 5 ladies of LPG have finally made their first music show appearance on the February 13th episode of SBS’s Inkigayo.
Their title track, ‘I’m Sorry that I’m A Nuna‘, was produced by composer DK and is a response track to Lee Seung Gi’s 2004 hit, ‘Because You’re My Woman.’

TEEN TOP performs “Candy” on Inkigayo


We are just one day away from Valentine’s Day and Inkigayo has decided to give viewers a special treat before the special day with a special stage.
To melt the hearts of fangirls, idol boy group, TEEN TOP transformed themselves into the legendary idols, H.O.T as they performed a special 2011 re-arrangement of the legendary hit song “Candy.”

MBLAQ sings a “Proposal” to f(x)’s Sulli on Inkigayo


Having appeared for SECRET’s ‘Shy Boy’ Valentine’s special stage on Music Core yesterday, the MBLAQ boys now turn their attention to f(x)’s Sulli on Inkigayo.
With the tune of J.Y. Park’s “Proposal”, MBLAQ’s Seungho charmed Sulli with a sweet piano performance and then they were joined by Thunder and G.O for a couple dance together.

Mir and Lee Joon did not participate due to illness.

All-around entertainer Lee Jung finally makes his way back on SBS’s Inkigayo on February 13th, after an absence of 3 years, with his new mini album titled, “J-Lee 2011 Project.”
The artist showcased his talent by personally taking part in every production phase of his album, including composing, writing, and arranging the tracks. For his title song, Lee Jung decided to go with a fun electric sound, which was further accentuated by his synthesized vocals.

SBS’s Inkigayo is back once again, and this week’s show was full of amazing and fun performances from the top participating K-pop artists!
The ‘Take 7′ nominees for the February 13th episode of Inkigayo were GD&TOP (“Don’t Go Home“), Seungri (“What Can I Do“), SECRET (“Shy Boy“), MBLAQ (“Stay“), INFINITE (“BTD“), G.NA (“Black & White“), and Jewelry (“Back It Up“). INFINITE was not present today.




The Mutizen was awarded to Seungri, who won for the second consecutive time. Congratulations to him!

Other performers who performed on this afternoon’s show included TVXQ, Mighty Mouth, Dal Shabet, Navi, Han Groo, and The One.

SECRET wins Music Bank K-Chart again + other performances

Park Jung Min says goodbye on Music Bank


SS501’s Park Jung Min had his goodbye stage on today’s Music Bank!
After a short promotion period, Park Jung Min performed his last “Not Alone” stage on the show. The short promotional period was due to the long Lunar New Year holidays and overlapping schedules which forced Jung Min to cut his domestic promotions short.
Meanwhile, Jung Min will be preparing for his fan meeting tour, a repackaged album plus he is also in talks to film a Taiwanese drama as well, and its all happening in the coming months.
He will be departing for Japan for an event on the 12th so enjoy his majestic performance below!







After a break in transmission due to the Lunar New Year holidays, Music Bank is back once again with a fun and exciting show filled with amazing performances!
Besides the usual stages, Lee Jung returns with a new album after his release from the army, while Kim Bo Kyung becomes the first Superstar K2 participant to perform on the show.
Having won last week, SECRET faced off against IU for this week’s K-Chart, and it was the former who clinched their 2nd consecutive win and taking two trophies home tonight.
And unlike last week, SECRET was able to collect their trophy during live broadcast and leader, Hyosung couldn’t help but tear in happiness. Congratulations to SECRET on their win!

Park Jung Min transforms into a rocker and says goodbye on ‘M! Countdown’


SS501’s Park Jung Min has gone for a rocker look in his latest stage performance!
With this being his final performance for “Not Alone“, he’s gone and prepared a special concert-like stage performance for ‘M! Countdown‘, which also includes “Do You Know“.
After ending his short one month promotion, Park Jung Min will now prepare for his Japanese activities.







SECRET will pass the trophy to the absent Seungri
After taking a break last week due to the Lunar New Year holidays, Mnet’s M! Countdown returned on February 10th with another weekly fun-filled music show and awesome performances.
SECRET’s Ji Eun and Sunhwa returned for another week of hosting.

It was a battle between Seungri and Park Jung Min for the #1 spot on M! Countdown today, and in the end, it was Seungri who got his triple crown on the show since making a comeback. Sadly, he wasn’t around today to receive his trophy as he is busy with preparation for Big Bang’s comeback.

Meanwhile, MCD Wars featured an analysis pitting GD&TOP against Seungri.
