Besides the usual fare tonight, former F.T Island member Won Bin made his solo debut, while girl group Rainbow wrapped up their promotions with their goodbye stage.
After seeing off the challenge of SG Wannabe last week, SNSD were up against 2AM for #1 on the K-Chart this week. In the end, it was SNSD who “hooted” their second trophy in a row for “Hoot.”

PSY wins #1 on M! Countdown + other performances
Mnet’s M! Countdown is back again for November 11th with another weekly fun-filled music show, and this episode is packed with awesome performances.
Girl group Girl’s Day made their belated comeback on the show this evening, plus there was a solo stage for Superstar K2 winner, Huh Gak. Meanwhile, Rainbow had their goodbye stage while rookie rock band, LED Apple finally made their debut. V.O.S had their comeback and farewell stage.
It was a battle between 2AM and PSY for the #1 spot on M! Countdown today, but in the end, it was PSY who came out on top in the end. Congratulations to him!
Other performers for today included Nine Muses, Jiggy Dogg, 2AM, Co-Ed, Esther, SG Wannabe, PSY, VNT, U-Kiss, and Kan Jong Wook.
In the MCD Awards segment presented by Dongho, past rookie award winners like TVXQ, 2NE1, Rain and the Wonder Girls were profiled and how they have gone on to achieve great success. Finally, a rundown of the nominees for the male and female rookie awards this year was shown.

Performances from the MBC G20 Korea Concert
The G20 Seoul Summit will be taking place in Seoul, Korea over the next two days (11th – 12th November), and to commemorate the occasion, a G20 Korea Concert was held two weeks ago on October 28th at Sangam Sunset Park involving popular K-pop acts.
The list of K-pop artists who performed that evening include 2PM, PSY, miss A, MBLAQ, Se7en, Sori, SG Wannabe, and Son Dambi. Although most of us couldn’t be there to support them live, the concert was aired on the evening of November 10th through MBC.

Performances from the MBC G20 Korea Concert

The G20 Seoul Summit will be taking place in Seoul, Korea over the next two days (11th – 12th November), and to commemorate the occasion, a G20 Korea Concert was held two weeks ago on October 28th at Sangam Sunset Park involving popular K-pop acts.
The list of K-pop artists who performed that evening include 2PM, PSY, miss A, MBLAQ, Se7en, Sori, SG Wannabe, and Son Dambi. Although most of us couldn’t be there to support them live, the concert was aired on the evening of November 10th through MBC.

As a result of this special broadcast, the MBC sitcom “All My Love” was canceled for today.

SNSD wins Inkigayo Mutizen + other performances
Inkigayo is back for the first week of November with a fun and exciting show filled with amazing performances from the top singers in Korea.
The Take 7 nominees for today were SNSD (‘Hoot‘), Psy (‘Right Now‘), 2PM (‘I’ll Be Back‘), 2AM (‘You Wouldn’t Answer My Calls‘), 2NE1 (‘Go Away‘), 2AM (‘Like Crazy‘), and Supreme Team (‘Then Then Then‘). Due to special circumstances, 2PM did not perform today.
And with last week’s winner, Ga-In, out of the running this week, there was a new winner for the Mutizen award on Inkigayo today. And the winner of this week’s Mutizen went to SNSD who wraps up a perfect week with a double, after their K-Chart win earlier this week. Congratulations!

Music Core performances from November 5th
MBC’s Music Core returned with their weekly broadcast today with a fun and exciting show filled with amazing performances!
And with this being the group’s second episode together, MBC has updated their website with photos of their new MC team of SHINee’s Onew and Minho, T-ara’s Jiyeon, and miss A’s Suzy.
There was a comeback stage today for Girl’s Day, while another girl group, VNT, made their debut. Elsewhere, 2PM and miss A had their goodbye stages.

Besides the usual fare, there was a comeback by Girl’s Day, who underwent member changes, December’s comeback, miss A saying goodbye, rookie girl group VNT making their debut, and Kim Jang Hoon leading the charge with tribute stages to legendary Korean musician, Kim Hyun Sik.

2PM wins #1 again on M! Countdown + other performances
Mnet’s M! Countdown is back again for November 4th with another weekly fun-filled music show, and this episode is packed with awesome performances. There were debut stages for rookie girl group VNT and female soloist Lady Jane plus performances by the Superstar K2 Top 11 participants, plus a solo stage for John Park. It was a One Day battle between 2AM and 2PM for the #1 spot on M! Countdown today, but in the end, it was 2PM who came out on top again for the 2nd week running. Congratulations
