IU wins Inkigayo Mutizen again + other performances

Touch returns with “Killin’ Me” on Inkigayo


Having debuted with “I” two months ago, rookie boy group Touch makes a return with their new song, “Killin’ Me“, on the December 25th episode of Inkigayo.
“Killin’ Me” tells the story of a man who is in love with a malicious woman, and it comes complete with dance moves created by dance team DQ, who has choreographed in the past for B2ST and MBLAQ.

Girl’s Day says goodbye with “Nothing Lasts Forever” on ‘Inkigayo’


Impressing all with their sassy track, “Nothing Lasts Forever“, Girl’s Day will finally bring their hot performance to ‘Inkigayo‘ on December 26th.
Unfortunately for fans, this appearance is actually a ‘hello/goodbye’ stage, as ‘Inkigayo’ marks the end of their promotions for 2010.
Their agency, DreamTea Entertainment, revealed that the members would be taking time off to recharge before they regroup to make a return for February 2011.

B2ST’s Yoseob & Dalmatian’s DRAMA sing “First Snow and First Kiss” on Inkigayo


Having released their collaborative digital singleFirst Snow and First Kiss” last month, B2ST’s Yoseob and Dalmatian’s DRAMA make another appearance on the Boxing Day episode of Inkigayo to sing their duet song once again.
Yoseob and DRAMA are the best of friends, having known each other since their trainee days, and it’s certainly a dream come true for them to sing together on stage.

B2ST’s Hyunseung & Kikwang perform “Let It Snow” on Inkigayo



Having performed on M! Countdown earlier, B2ST’s Hyunseung and Kikwang will be the only B2ST unit that will perform on the final Inkigayo episode of the year.
B2ST’s Kikwang & Hyunseung put on an unforgettably dramatic stage to close out the year, in large part due to their modern sexiness and neverending charisma.

It’s coming to the end of the year for 2010, and Inkigayo promises to be another fun and exciting show filled with amazing performances from the top singers in Korea.
Due to Jo Kwon’s involvement with 2AM’s concert, CNBLUE’s Jungshin takes his MC spot.

The Take 7 nominees were KARA (‘Jumping‘), IU (“Good Day“), GD&TOP (‘High High‘), Park Hyo Shin (‘I Promise You‘), T-ara (‘Yayaya‘), SISTAR (‘How Dare You‘), and Seo In Young (‘Into The Rhythm‘). KARA and Park Hyo Shin did not perform today.
T-ara also recorded an employment video!

After winning #1 on all music shows since last week, IU continues her run by bagging her second consecutive Mutizen win to crown off a marvelous year! Congratulations to IU!

2010 KBS Entertainment Awards Winners List + Performances



The 2010 KBS Entertainment Awards took place at the KBS Hall in Yeouido on Christmas Day, where some of the hottest stars took the stage. Hosted by Shin Bong Yeob, Shin Bong Sun, and Lee Ji Ae, the night was full of exciting performances and joyous award winnings.

Fancam of JYP Nation’s “Heartbeat” performance released!



JYP Entertainment’s in-house collaboration concert, “JYP Nation – Team Play“,  received a tremendous amount of praise for its gender-bending performances.
But it was one performance in particular that overshadowed the rest, even being labelled as “epic”.
miss A’s Jia and Fei teamed up with the Wonder GirlsSunye, Yubin, Yeeun and Sohee to deliver a cover of 2PM’s “Heartbeat“. The girls demonstrated that you don’t have to be a man to exhibit powerful moves, and they did so with a swagger that shook the hearts of their fans.
The 2PM boys came in mid-performance, and the resulting scene between Yubin and Chansung shut the house down.

Performances from Music Core Christmas Special

GD&TOP are “High High” on Music Core


Having skipped Music Bank last night for club performances, GD&TOP return to our TV screens with their promotions for their new collaboration album on MBC’s Music Core.
Unlike their previous multiple song debut stages on Inkigayo and M! Countdown, the boys only performed one song this afternoon, “High High“, but it was still enough to bring the house down.

MBC’s Music Core has returned once again and it promises to be another fun and exciting show.
The top K-pop artists of 2010 have converged together this afternoon since it is a Christmas special, and also to close out the year on a high note as it is the final Music Core episode of the year.
Former MCs, SNSD’s Yuri and Tiffany also returned to host the final episode of 2010, alongside regular MCs, miss A’s Suzy and T-ara’s Jiyeon, making it an all-girl MC line-up this afternoon in the studio. Meanwhile, SHINee’s Minho and Onew hosted the outdoor stage segment.

IU wins K-Chart on Music Bank + other performances

B2ST’s Yoseob & Dalmatian’s DRAMA sing “First Snow and First Kiss” on Music Bank


Having released their collaborative digital singleFirst Snow and First Kiss” last month, and having performed on Music Core last Saturday, B2ST’s Yoseob and Dalmatian’s Drama make another appearance on the Christmas Eve episode of Music Bank to sing their duet song once again.
Having performed with Junhyung yesterday, Yoseob dumps the ‘Joker’ for some ‘Drama’ today.
Their song depicts the excitement one feels when seeing the first snow of the year, along with feelings of nostalgia when thinking about past loves. The ballad song is a gift from Yoseob and DRAMA to the people they love.
Yoseob and DRAMA are the best of friends, having known each other since their trainee days, and it’s certainly a dream come true for them to sing together on stage.

Dongwoon and Doojoon sing “When the Door Closes” on Music Bank

 


Having performed on M! Countdown yesterday, B2ST’s Dongwoon and Doojoon will be the only B2ST unit that will perform on the Christmas Eve edition of Music Bank on December 24th.
Dongwoon and Doojoon have really shone in their performance of their self-composed track, “When the Door Closes“, with their solid vocals and piano playing skills.

It’s the final Music Bank episode of 2010, and it’s also Christmas Eve, so there were a lot of special stages and events lined up to make it another memorable episode!
Besides the usual fare, there were debut stages for B2ST’s Dongwoon and Doojoon plus Dalmatian’s Drama and B2ST’s Yoseob.
Meanwhile, SISTAR belatedly picked up their K-Chart trophy for last week’s win.

IU faced off against KARA for this week’s K-Chart, and it was IU who picked up the K-Chart win tonight, completing her grand slam sweep of music show awards. Congratulations to IU!

IU wins #1 on M! Countdown + other performances

IU wishes you “Merry Christmas in Advance” on M! Countdown


Singer IU, who has been gaining much praise for her strong vocal talents and ability to sing three octaves, has transformed herself into a bright and cheerful Christmas girl.
In view of the upcoming Christmas holidays, IU performed her duet track, ”Merry Christmas in Advance“, from her recent album on Mnet’s ‘M! Countdown‘.
The production crew of ‘M! Countdown’ stated, “With Christmas just around the corner, requests from fans wanting to see a performance of IU’s ‘Merry Christmas in Advance’ flooded in. Since the broadcast is on the day before Christmas Eve, we wanted to liven up the Christmas mood; therefore we’re going to decorate the stage so that both the artist and fans can enjoy the performance.

B2ST units debut with three duet songs on M! Countdown


Having first released the duets through their solo concert earlier this month, the B2ST boys brought their self-composed compositions onto the December 23rd episode of Mnet’s M! Countdown.
The boys divided themselves into three units of two members for the duets, and it was a spectacular early Christmas present for their fans, whom B2ST wanted to thank for their support.

GD&TOP are “High High” on M! Countdown

Having performed exclusively on Inkigayo last Sunday, GD&TOP brings their A-game to M! Countdown today with the most expensive stage ever constructed in the history of Mnet.
And to make their debut on M! Countdown that much more special, GD&TOP performed a total of 3 songs: “High High“, “Oh Yeah” (featuring 2NE1’s Park Bom), and “Knock Out
