Winners from the 2011 Asia Model Awards


Earlier, we reported that SHINee had won an award at the 2011 Asia Model Awards, but there were also other winners at the awards ceremony held at the Seoul Marriott Hotel on January 21st.
Fellow label mate SNSD was chosen as Asia’s Best Star, on January 21st at the 2011 Asia Model Awards, together with Kwon Sang Woo and Jerry Yan.
SNSD shared, “Thank you to all the fans in the world that have given us so much love. We will work harder for hallyu. Please give some love to other singers and the SM Town family.”

Since it was a global event, Tiffany impressed by sharing the speech in English as well.
The awards show, which is only in its sixth year, is already creating lots of buzz and congratulates people who have excelled in the fields of modeling, dramas, movies, music, and more.

TVXQ wins Music Bank K-Chart again + other performances

Navi returns with ‘Well Done’ on Music Bank

After being on hiatus for the past five months, female soloist Navi made her return on the January 21st episode of Music Bank with her new title song, ‘Well Done‘.
Having been put on a strict diet regime, Navi returns to us with a brand new, slimmer self, and it definitely stands out in the performances for her new song, together with her solid vocals.

Winners from the 20th High1 Seoul Music Awards



The 20th High1 Seoul Music Awards were held on January 20th at the Hall of Peace in Kyunghee University, and many top K-pop artists were in attendance.
The awards show first begun in 1990 and is presented annually by Sports Seoul for outstanding achievements in the music industry in South Korea. It is one of the big 4 music award ceremonies in Korea, alongside Mnet Asian Music Awards, Golden Disk Awards, and Melon Music Awards.
The hosts for the evening were Shin Dong Yup, SNSD’s Yuri and Tak Jae Hoon.
Below is the list of winners from this year’s show!

The Bonsang award winners are chosen through voting (20%), digital/album sales (50%), research (10%), and panel judgement (20%). One artist is then chosen from the Bonsang winners for the Daesang.
