GD&TOP wins ‘Inkigayo Mutizen’ + other performances

Dal Shabet debuts on Inkigayo with “Supa Dupa Diva”

The six girls of Dal Shabet have finally made their debut on today’s Inkigayo after headlining for weeks as the brainchild of hit composers E-TRIBE.
Their title track, “Supa Dupa Diva,” has already been topping a few charts since its release, and it’s looking like they may be able to fulfill their desire to become the industry’s trendiest divas, as expressed by their lyrics.
Be sure to check out their ‘point choreography’ (aka the ‘zzanggu dance’ and ‘mermaid dance’) below!

SECRET returns with “Shy Boy” on Inkigayo

SECRET’s comeback ’swing rhythm dance track’ has been enjoying much success on the music charts after its release on January 6th.
Shy Boy” dominated digital music charts moments after its release and has managed to secure itself in the Top 5 of most charts.  Their title track is co-produced by Kang Jiwon and Kim Kibum, and features a fun swing rhythm, different from their stronger styles with past hits “Magic” and “Madonna.”
Their modern reinvention of the 1960s retro concept and cute choreography has captured hearts on today’s Inkigayo, so check it out below!

TVXQ makes a comeback on Inkigayo with “Keep Your Head Down”, “Maximum”, + “How Can I”

Following the official release of their MV and full album earlier in the week, TVXQ has finally wrapped up their first cycle of promotions with “Keep Your Head Down” on SBS Inkigayo.
Their title track, “Keep Your Head Down”, ranked in 1st place on various music sites on the day of release, selling 15,000 copies. Not only has the song itself been gaining exponential interest, but so too did their official music video, which was uploaded onto SM Entertainment’s official Youtube channel, as the video has already received well over a million views in the short time since its upload.
Check out their performance below!

2011 has finally opened up, and Inkigayo promises to be another fun and exciting show filled with amazing performances from the top singers of Korea.
Due to Jung Yonghwa’s involvement with CNBLUE’s Japanese concert, F.T. Island’s Lee Hongki will be taking his place as MC today.
The Take 7 nominees were GD&TOP (‘High High‘), Seo In Young (‘Into the Rhythm‘), Park Hyoshin (‘Hungry For Love‘), Brown Eyed Soul (‘If It’s the Same‘), T-ara (‘Yayaya‘), SISTAR (‘How Dare You‘), and KARA (‘Jumping‘).  Unfortunately, Seo In Young, Park Hyoshin, Brown Eyed Soul, and KARA were not present today.
TVXQ, SECRET, INFINITE, and JOO made their comebacks, while newcomer Dal Shabet debuted and F.CUZ returned with their follow-up promotions.   Other performers include GD&TOP, T-ara, SISTAR, IU, JJ, Tim, December, $unny Side, and Jung Jae Wook.
With all these fantastic performances, the winner of this week’s “Mutizen” was none other than GD&TOP!
