G.NA wins #1 on M! Countdown + other performances



Mnet’s M! Countdown is back with another weekly fun-filled music show and awesome performances.
Mighty Mouth’s Sangchu and Han Groo were the MCs for today.
It was a battle between G.NA and MBLAQ for the #1 spot on M! Countdown today, and in the end, it was G.NA who got the win, her first since making a comeback. Congratulations to G.NA!


Other performers included Park Hye Kyung, Flower, Dal Shabet, Mighty Mouth, Lee Jung, Jewelry, One Way, and Han Groo.







MCD Awards was regarding male idols who would look best as a model. Nominees include TVXQ’s Yunho, SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong, SHINee’s Minho and Rain. Check to see who won.

MCD Wars pitted B2ST’s Yoseob against IU for 3-level charms, including 1) Singing, 2) Cuteness that reaches the end of the world and 3) Fan obsession. Fans can vote through their official Twitter.


Lee Hyun makes a comeback on M! Countdown


After a year and six months, 8eight’s Lee Hyun finally makes his comeback as a soloist with his new title song, “You Are The Best of My Life“, on today’s episode of Mnet’s M! Countdown.
In the latter half of 2010, Lee Hyun promoted in a duet project as “Homme” with 2AM’s Changmin, and they received immense popularity and received acknowledgement from the general public for their talented vocals through their hit track, “Still Eating Well”.
Lee Hyun is back again, but this time with a second mini-album under his own name, and with a title track produced by none other than Korea’s ballad hit maker, Bang Shi Hyuk.

Dalmatian makes a comeback on M! Countdown


Having released their album, music video, and performing in a showcase earlier, the Dalmatian boys begun their promotions proper through the February 17th episode of Mnet’s M! Countdown.
After their on-off promotions for their debut single last year, the boys will be hoping to leave a deeper impression this time around with their double song promotions of “Lover Cop” and “The Man Opposed“. Check out their performances below!


Big Bang wins #1 on M! Countdown again + other performances



Mnet’s M! Countdown is back with another weekly fun-filled music show and awesome performances.
From this week, M! Countdown started anew with a brand new presentation and voting system with their two new hosts, Tony An and Shin So Yool.

Besides the usual performances, SS501’s Kim Hyung Jun began his solo promotions, while Big Bang made their grand comeback. Elsewhere, John Park and Steve Barakatt collaborated for a special stage, Davichi’s Lee Hae Ri got back on stage again, and G.NA began her follow-up song promotions.
It was a battle between Big Bang, MBLAQ and IU for the #1 spot on M! Countdown today, and in the end, it was Big Bang who got their second straight win. Unlike last week, the boys were present to receive their trophy this time around. Congratulations to Big Bang on their win!

Kim Hyung Jun debuts on M! Countdown with “oH! aH!”

After releasing his album earlier this week, SS501’s Kim Hyung Jun begun his promotions as a a solo artist on this week’s M! Countdown.
By joining forces with Korea’s hit producer, E-TRIBE, Kim Hyung Jun’s urban R&B track, “oH! aH!,” will certainly have fans exclaiming ‘ooh!‘ over the exciting serenade of love.
The song features the addictive ‘hook’ E-TRIBE is known for, mixed in with Kim Hyung Jun’s distinctive vocal color, which all come together for a charismatic R&B track that will leave listeners captivated from start to finish. Check it out below together with “Girl.”


 
 
 

G.NA follows up with “I Miss You Already” on M! Countdown


After making her mark in the industry with the success of “Black & White,” singer G.NA headed into her follow-up promotions this week with her performance of “I Miss You Already” on today’s episode of M! Countdown.
The subtle image change she’s undergone gives off an innocent touch to the sexy image she’s known for. The ballad track expresses the heartbreaking emotions of a woman dealing with the aftermath of a hard break-up. G.NA’s smooth vocals have already impressed many with the level of depth it gives the song, so check it out below!

T-Max releases “Believe” for “Crime Squad” OST



In support of member Kim Joon’s return to the small screen after a two year hiatus, T-Max released their participation track for KBS’s “Crime Squad” OST!
Believe” marks the group’s third OST track, as they previously sang hit tracks for “Boys Over Flowers” (2009) and “God of Study” (2010).
“Believe” is a pop-rock track with flavors of Euro-pop and hard rock; it features the vocals of T-Max’s Ju Chan Yang and Shin Min Chul.  The song was previously teased on Planet 905 Entertainment’s official Facebook and Twitter, who wrote “T-MAX? TWO-MAX! Who are the two lead roles?”

Crime Squad’s pilot episode will air on March 7th.

Big Bang wins Music Bank K-Chart again + other performances



Music Bank is back once again with a fun and exciting show filled with amazing performances!
Besides the usual performance stages, Big Bang and K.Will made their comebacks, while G.NA began her follow-up promotions. Elsewhere, SS501’s Kim Hyung Jun began his solo promotions.
It was Big Bang up against Lee Hyun for the K-Chart tonight, and it was the former who clinched their 2nd consecutive win. And unlike last week, the boys were present to receive the trophy in person.
Congratulations to Big Bang!

G.NA follows up with “I Miss You Already” on Music Bank


After making her mark in the industry with the success of “Black & White,” singer G.NA headed into her “I Miss You Already” follow-up promotions on today’s episode of Music Bank.
The subtle image change she’s undergone gives off an innocent touch to the sexy image she’s known for. The ballad track expresses the heartbreaking emotions of a woman dealing with the aftermath of a hard break-up and her smooth vocals have already impressed many with the level of depth.
Meanwhile, it was reported that G.NA had hurt her knee during rehearsals earlier in the day. She was immediately taken to a nearby clinic for treatment but decided to perform anyway after doctors diagnosed no immediate trauma. For safety reasons, G.NA reduced her movement by sitting during her ballad stage and will be visiting the hospital for a x-ray after Music Bank concludes.

Music Core performances from March 12th



MBC’s Music Core is back once again with yet another fun and exciting show!
Today’s show had been pre-recorded on March 5th as the whole Music Core staff are now presently in Thailand to prepare for MBC’s 50th Anniversary “Korean Wave Concert in Bangkok” on the 12th with a whole lot of K-Pop artists. For those who are unable to be there, rest assured that you won’t be missing out on all the goodness for it will be shown at a later date through MBC.

K-Will returns with ‘My Heart is Beating’ on Music Core


Having slimmed down considerably since his last album promotions, K-Will is back on stage with his new image and title song, “My Heart is Beating“, on this week’s Music Core stage.
His title track is the impressive combo work of composer Kim Do Hoon, who’s known for producing for Wheesung, Lee Seung Gi, and CNBLUE, and lyricist Kim Eana, who wrote hit tracks such as IU’s “Good Day” and the Brown Eyed Girls‘ “Abracadabra.
This medium tempo ballad track features a fun melody with a dynamic sound that work in tune with the explosive vocals K-Will is known for.
